telc Türkçe A1 is a general language exam that you can normally take after an average of 100 - 150 teaching units (45 minutes). Whether you are at school, at university, employed or retired. At level A1 you can communicate in a very simple way about needs of a concrete type (e.g. introductions, food and drink, shopping, say where you live.) You can use a few very basic grammatical constructions.

If you already have a good basic knowledge of Turkish, telc Türkçe B1 is the right exam for you. At level B1 you can communicate in a simple and connected way in everyday situations, while travelling and when talking about topics that are of personal interest. You can describe experiences, hopes and ambitions and give reasons for opinions. On the whole you can use the most important grammatical structures correctly.
telc Türkçe B2 tests your general Turkish language competence at an advanced level. At level B2 you can express yourself clearly and explicitly and also successfully discuss and negotiate. You have a large command of the vocabulary needed for your field of specialisation and for most general topics. Your usage of grammar is sound.
The exam (A1/A2/B1/B2) can be taken by anyone.
telc Türkçe C1 tests general Turkish language competence at a very advanced level. The exam is suitable for adults who use Turkish socially and professionally or academically in their studies. At C1 level you can express yourself spontaneously and fluently. You are familiar with idiomatic phrases and can vary your style of language as appropriate. You can use the language with a high degree of grammatical accuracy.
The exam consists of a written and an oral part.
