Bu çalısma, Rize’nin Ardesen, Çamlıhemsin, Pazar ilçelerine baglı bazı köylerden derlenmis metinlere dayanan, fonetik inceleme esasına göre hazırlanmıs bir agız çalısmasıdır. Çalısma, “Giris”, “&nceleme”, “Metinler” ve “Dizin” olmak üzere dört ana bölümden olusmaktadır. Giris bölümünde, Hemsin yöresini, tarihî, cografî, mimarî, sosyal, etnik, dinî özellikleri bakımından inceleyen monografik bir bölüm ve çalısmada uygulanan bazı yöntemlerle birlikte Hemsin agzının genel bir degerlendirmesi yer almaktadır. Tezin dil malzemesini olusturan “Metinler” bölümü, toplam 26 kisi ile sohbet tarzında yapılan konusmalardan desifre edilerek elde edilmistir. “&nceleme” bölümünde, Hemsin agzının, ses bilgisi bulunmaktadır. “Dizin” bölümü, gramatikal kelime dizini, yer ve kurulus adları dizini ve kisi ve sülâle adları dizini olmak üzere üç farklı baslık altında sınıflandırılmıstır. “Dizin” bölümünde kelimelerin metinlerde geçen anlamları verilmeye çalısılmıstır. Dizinde seslerin isaret düzeni, bilgisayar ortamına göredir. Ayrıca, Derleme Sözlügü’nde bulunmayan veya ses ve anlam bakımından birtakım faklılıklar gösteren kelimelerin de ayrı bir sözlügü yapılmıs, bu sözlük, çalısmanın sonuna eklenmistir. Bu kısa sözlükte, derlenen metinlerde yer almayan, sorusturma yöntemi ile elde edilen kelimeler de bulunmaktadır. Söz konusu sözlükte, kimi kelimelerin köylere göre degisen varyantlarına da yer verilmistir. Tezin ekler bölümünde, Pazar, Çamlıhemsin, Ardesen’e baglı ve yörede “Hemsin köyleri” olarak bilinen köyleri gösteren üç harita yer almaktadır. Hemsin yöresini gösteren bu haritalarda, köy isimlerinin metinlerde geçen eski sekilleri parantez içinde verilmistir. Ayrıca bu bölümde kaynak kisilerin fotografları bulunmaktadır. Tezle birlikte iki adet DVD’den olusan bir sunum ve tezin dijital kayıtlarını içeren bir CD bulunmaktadır. DVD sunumunda, kaynak kisilerin konusmalarını, fotograflarını ve yöre görüntülerini içeren görsel efektler yer almaktadır

This Hemsin dialect study is based on villages only various texts compiled from some of Rize, but also phonetic principles. This study consists of four main parts which are called “Introduction”, “Survey”, “Texts”, and “Index”. The “Introduction”, includes both a monographic part analysing region of Hemsin’s historical, geographical, architectural, social, ethnological and religious characteristics and an other part including the methods used and a general assessment of the Hemsin dialect. The text part, which forms the language material of the thesis, has been acquired from the deciphered conversations that have been made with twenty-six people. In the “Survey” part you can find the phonetic of the Hemsin dialect. “Index”, part has been classified in to there sub-headings: The “Index” of gramatical syntax, the index of the names of places and institutions and the index of the names of individuals and families. In the “Index” part the clear definitions of the words, included in the texts, have been tried to given. Moreover a dictionary has been prepared and attached to the end of the work that includes the words which are not defined in the “Dictionary of Collection and some words having some differences on account of meaning. Also in this short dictionary there are some words that are not involved in the collected texts and which are abtained by using the method of questionnaire. The mentioned dictionary also includes the variants of some words that are used differently in various villages. In the appendix part there are three maps showing the villages of Pazar, Çamlıhemsin, Ardesen, which are known as the villages of Hemsin. In this map the oldsayings of these villages are given in brackets. Furthermore the photos of source people can be found in this part. There is a presentation composed of two DVD’s and a CD including the digital records of the thesis with this thesis. The DVD presentation includes the conversations and photographs of the source people and visual effects containing the pictures of the region.
