The Comptoir Darna is a unique and well known place in Marrakech, a meeting point wrapped by the energy and the conviviality of Oriental nights. DJ's and traditional musicians from the end of the street to the end of the world gather together there. The concept behind this album arose spontaneously, as Claude Challe sought to capture the nightly atmosphere of the club. Creating an organic "oriental cabaret", musicians, dancers and singers from all over Morocco revisit popular tunes together until the end of the night before a cosmopolitan audience who echoes in the chorus.
